    • Hatton will tell you he never fought Pacquiao. Well, I think he doesn't remember. Boxing is such a brutal sport...LOL

      • Pretty straighforward analysis. Seems like given his experience with both he would see Pac as the winner but I guess he's seeing it only as their styles affect each other, not as they affected him.

        • David Daiz & Ricky Hatton were tailor made for Pacquiao. Counterpunchers like Marquez and Mayweather are not. I believe Hatton's is talking about Floyd's defense & style giving him the advantage if they fight. Take it for what it is, just one boxer's opinion.

          • Hatton should be thankful that he caught in the chin earlier (rd 2) by pacman. If he went more round like his mayweather fight, Pacman will cause much worse to the face of Hatton. Much worse than Diaz, Dela Hoya & Cotto. His really hittable man. He should be thankful that he has soft chin

I believe that is precisely why he has (like anyone gives a flying rat **** what he thinks) come out and said that Floyd will do well against Pacquiao. It will assuage, in his perverted view, the sting of abject humiliation he suffered in his second round KTFO against Pacquiao and give him a solid reason to go after Floyd again hoping to be p4p king...even though it does NOT work like that. hatton has not nearly the resume that Foyd or Pacquiao have.

              • This is Hatton's way of fighting Pac, that's all. Verbally.

                • Hitman Favors ‘Money’ But Would Rather Watch Manny

Hatton shared his views on the upcoming superfight in an interview conducted by Scottish tabloid newspaper Daily Record. The Hitman confessed being blown away by Pacquiao’s performance against Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto after picking against his one-time conqueror prior to the fight, “Pacquiao gets better with every fight. I didn’t fancy him against Miguel Cotto earlier this month but he smashed him to bits”, the 31-year old native of Manchester, England admitted.
When pressed for his prediction however on the outcome of the much-talked about fight, Hatton favored Mayweather over Pacquiao saying the fast-talking American has the style and the safety-first approach to avoid getting nailed by the Pacman, “Mayweather is so good he doesn’t let you get any punches off. If he makes Pacquiao miss he’ll take the sting out of him”.
Well, suffice to say it won’t be the first time the outspoken Briton will be proven wrong if ever, as he also picked De La Hoya to prevail in another of Pacquiao’s previous fights while the Pacman has proven time and again that he has the uncanny ability to almost always dig deep and find a way to prove his critics and doubters wrong.
Although he was called a ‘not so good’ world champion by Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach in one of the recent episodes of HBO’s 24/7 series, Hatton confesses he still prefers watching Pacquiao over Mayweather anytime as he claims that watching Mayweather is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
“I’d rather watch Pacquiao though. Mayweather will go down as one of the all time greats but I wouldn’t get up at four o’clock in the morning to watch him. He bores the s*** out of me”, disclosed the former light welterweight lineal title holder.
Now that’s a statement we fully agree, with or without the benefit of hindsight or ring experience.
