    A Ward = Mayweather of 160+

    Finally we have a new Roy Jones type fighter so dominate they make good fighters look like bums.

      I like Ward and was rooting for him last night. He completely dominated Kessler from the opening bell, but I saw nothing to suggest hes on the level of a Roy Jones.

        He's on level of Roy just not as fast and doesnt hit as hard but definitely as skilled.

            No man, Mayweather is alot better then Ward. P4P, Mayweather would have easily beaten Kessler on the inside and not resort so much to holding. Also Mayweather's lead left hook/ straight right hand is better, overall defense. Just no comparison man. Then again, Ward is still learning, he could possibly get there. I'm more impressed with a 20 year old Mayweather as oppose to Ward right now.

              he looked to me very similar to Bernard Hopkins, with a little bit of Floyd's defense, footwork and left hook, stylewise. The fight in itself looked a lot like Hopkins vs Pavlik
