Very good ref. And i don't think cotto develops anything serious from fight. Thought he would after the way he looked from margarito fight. In margarito fight he was bleeding from mouth, ears, nose, hair, armpits, etc.....lol. He looked real bad after margarito fight and still came back to fight clottey and best fighter out there(pacquiao). Heck, maybe he has brain damage to fight clottey/pac after that margarito beating. If cotto comes back from those 3 fights and wins a title in 2010 or 2011, even the cotto haters have to give him some due.

Tell you what, Ima Cotto fan now. I will start following him and if he win his next fights and get a title again he will definitely get due.

Respect that. Me too with pacquiao. I already thought he was an all-time great, just did not think he could compete in welterweight division.....BOY WAS I WRONG. I think pacquiao can compete against any welterweight. I just think that we'll all be shocked if he does lose because we expect him not to lose. Sometimes style and not the best fighter beats you.

Bayless has been cautious over Cotto since round 6 I think, specially on rounds 9 & 10 w/c Cotto took so much beating. You can really see his facial expression.

Fight cost money, ppl don't like spending money on short fights. If this was a regular HBO/Showtime fight I'd understand stopping it sooner. But you have a paying audience. PPV taking over this sport...

When Cotto's corner didn't stop the fight after the 9th round, I had a feeling that they just didn't want Roach's prediction to come true so Cotto stayed in the fight and Santiago didn't at least try to stop it. It's mostly because of pride I guess.
