    I thought Ward was very live coming into this fight. I believed him to be the future runner up.

    I just didn't think he'd improve so much and tighten the little openings he had in his defense so quickly.

      ok yeah i guess i favored kess casue he's fought more fight's and has a pretty clean style. he went 12 rounds with joe... What made some of you pick ward style wise over kess?

        Ward's footwork/lateral movement and handspeed was going to trouble Kessler.

        Plus, Ward is pretty versatile and can throw punches from weird angles. The only other fighter he's been in with that was that awkward was Calzaghe.
