...Absolutely correct!!! They were not intentional head butts from a ****bag anyway. They just happened. Kessler was garbage tonight. Ward beat his ass from start to finish. The "Great Dane" was as soft as a Danish.

The Ref himself said he saw 5 seperate headbutts from Ward and he only ruled 1, someone care to explain that? Props to Goosen on getting the upperhand with his negotiating skills.

It's easy to land when your opponent has double vision. I just hope that Kessler doesn't have a detached retina and doesn't need surgery. Hopefully the cuts heal up so he continues in the tourney no problems and him and Ward will meet in the Semis or Finals, can't wait to see that.
Diddn't Team Kessler complain about the original ref and judges? Wonder if he feels he should've kept quiet about that....

Oh....it'll be Ward/Abraham in the finals with Abraham getting outboxed......

Yes, you rule on it if it causes a cut, Kessler had one above and below one eye and a cut over the other. That is at least 3 seperate cuts, it looked like someone took a broken beer bottle to him in a bar fight.
You dont know for sure that they came from butts. You act like he never got hit with a punch the whole fight. The ref didnt think the others came from butts and I didnt see them come from butts either. Not saying that they didnt but its possible either way

And yes i have been in the ring. Headbutts do happen but not all the time as you claim. And certainly not with people using their head like a battering ram, that was shameless.

I'v also been in real fights (not boxing) where i have thrown & recieved headbutts and i know how much they can effect your equilibrium and vision.

Honestly bro Kesslers main fanbase is built of Calzaghe nutt-huggers who want to defend Calzaghe only prime notable opponent

Nothing but excuses. I shouldn't be surprised though this is NSB.

exactly. they hyped his loser up because he gave calzaghe such a tough fight. when the reality is calzaghe is just not that good if he struggles with guys like kessler and bika.

kessler would've lost without the headbutts and holding, but the dirty tactics really through kessler off his game.

If point deductions were given for the headbutts done after the first one then the judges scores would've been a lot closer. People wouldn't be using words like "schooled" or "destroyed" etc to refer to Wards victory.

The change in reputation of these fighters wouldn't be as drastic as most people on this forum are making it out to be.

This. Just people who are actling like 5 headbutts, at a minimum, don't effect the fighter (vision, equilibrium, bleeding, frustration the ref isn't doing anything) are delusional. Along with, as you mentioned, had the ref done something right away it would have certainly changed the dynamic of the fight.

Also, every clinch the ref warned Kessler? I honestly didn't hear him say anything to Ward once in spite of the fact that he initiated the vast majority of them.
