Ward is a way better fighter than Chad Dawson and would beat him.

Again, I like Glen Johnson. But he doesn't get stoppages against elite fighters. And the fact that he came close to stopping Dawson in the first fight shows me that Dawson got exposed even if he did win the rematch.

Chad Dawson is the truth. He would run thru all these guys in the super 6 and do it with ease to the point people will continue to say he's boring! He would whoop Ward's ass, because he'd make Ward come forward. And this is an invalid assessment because we haven't seen Ward fight someone with skill!

How is Dawson exposed when he cleaned up a lot of his mistakes in the rematch? If Glen Johnson vs Chad Dawson II happened last year (which it didn't happen because of the WBC) Dawson would of beaten him conviningly.

Even if this post has some truth to it which it probably does, that still doesn't change the fact that you are making Johnson out to be some big puncher when he really isn't. He's got decent power. It's debatable of whether or not Johnson could beat Ward (I don't think he can now, but he would've stood a better chance in his prime), but Ward would not get stopped by him. Kessler probably has just as much if not more power and Ward took Kessler's punches (whatever few landed) like it was nothing.

Ward's chin is average (it's worse than Dawson's), Ward would fall under Johnson's pressure. Glenn probably wouldn't knock out Ward, but he would give him one hell of a tough fight.

And a Calzaghe-Ward fight is up in the air to me. I wasn't impressed with Ward in his fight with Miranda, but even Ward was honest with himself that night and said that he would perform better under a bigger stage. Ward is the truth. Abraham only has a puncher's chance against him, and his ear muff defense might make it hard for Ward to land. But Abraham would be more competitive than Kessler was.

The whole point of this thread though is to give praise to a fighter who deserves it and not a fighter who pitty pats to victories like Chad Dawson does.

What gives you that idea other than the Darnell Boone fight?

Technically, Dawson is much better but i do think Ward can match his hand speed. Ward does a lot of things that's still amateurish, such as pawing with his left jab, desperately lunging in when he feels he has to make a statement, he often swings wild and hes also hittable. Dawson is much more accurate, has more power, is even taller than Ward and is and is a more complete boxer with a much more effective jab.
