I don't go out of my way to hate European fighters and I am not saying that Pull does. But Calzaghe would have his hands full against Ward regardless of who won that fight. Ward is also a way better fighter than Chad Dawson and Chad would lose to Ward for sho.

Calzaghe had some trouble until he jumped on Kessler. Even Calzaghe talked about it in an interview with how he beat Kessler...wonder if Ward saw it.

Kessler is too traditional for styles like Calzaghe and Ward.

Calzaghe would give problems to Ward but it would be a good fight. Calzaghe wouldn't fold either and knows how to step it up.

A bum would have beaten Kessler tonight, he didn't turn up. Ward has had harder fights against the bums he fought.

Possibly, and so would many other fighters, Calzaghe was a good fighter but he was NEVER world class. Continental class no doubt but not world class.

He applied heavy pressure early and didn't let Kessler get off. Enough rounds of that, and Kessler started to get confused and then folded.

True but consider Calzaghe's chin, how would it hold up? We will never know (unless Calzaghe comes back) is the only answer to this question but will keep many haters talking for a good day or two.
