The two best fighters of this generation. I am a big Pac fan and I don't like Mayweather as much as I used to, but he's way too gifted in the ring for me to not respect. Pacquiao may put on the better show, but Floyd sells more ppvs and puts asses in seats. Floyd may outclass and shut out opponents, but Manny finishes fights and gives opponents the worst beating they will ever take in their careers. I have faith this fight will be made. When did Mayweather or Pac ever have this much demand for them to fight someone? Not even De la Hoya.
I believe Mayweather needs this fight more. He loves the money now but I remember a few years back when he said his goal was to be the greatest boxer of all time. He's wasted opportunities to fight Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, and a few others, but now is his chance to cement his legacy and make more money than even he desires. Both guys won't make anymore money or gain anymore credibility fighting someone else. They deserve and both have earned the right to fight each other.
