Who has Kessler really fought to earn such a high rep?

He stood toe-to-toe with Calzaghe and had some moments, Joe was definitely the better fighter. The thing that stood out about that fight was Kessler's will to win, we didn't see him give up, and when he knew he was down on the scorecards, he was decided to go for the KO. In this day and age, you really can't expect many names on someone's resume anymore, but I'm sure Kessler, even after the tournament, will be fighting the best more often because he's gotten rid of his promoter who was basically having him isolated in his home country. You also got to think how segregated countries are when it comes to boxing. It gets quite annoying when they only fight exclusively in their home countries, and we see this EVERYWHERE. It obviously will make big fights hard to manage and make, and when they develop a habit for fighting in the same area, I assume they become paranoid in putting their records in jeopardy, especially in a sport where even one loss is extremely crucial.Comment
