I am a Jones fan and I am rotin for Roy, but I dont think he can beat Hopkins, Jones is in outstandingly conditions than Hopkins

same thing people said pavlik would do to hopkins. you need to be able to mount offense to "outwork" someone. calzaghe is a master at imposing himself and his offensive style on his opponent and he barely landed any clean shots on hopkins. jones will eat straight right hands before he gets within punching range.

i believe that hopkins is the most logical choice and most realistic because he just seems not to have aged as badly as jones has!!

but i do think jones has a realistic outsiders choice primarily because he still does have a decent punch output and most importantly he has very fast hands even for a fighter of is age

i think hopkins weakness is the fact that he can be outworked and is very paranold about quick hands

taylor and calzaghe both defeated him through having quick hands!!!

winkly wright has ok hand speed and that was disputed decision kelly pavlik is very robotic and has always been over rated!!

jones can win this fight but if he does he wont ever retire which he needs to do because hes not fighting at the same standard anymore

jones by a SD or UD - i think he can steal a few rounds largely on work rate also hopkins dont throw enough specially against someone who could counter him

I think some are forgetting Jones has to beat Danny Green for the fight with Hopkins to happen. I would wait until December 2nd before making these kind of threads.

Hey dip****s who picked Hopkins by TKO/KO/RTD, wake up and smell the coffee. Jones only got stopped by guys who have a good punch and who have a good workrate. Hopkins has neither. Give it up. If your man crush wins, it's not by stoppage.

roy jones has little to no chance of winning but i hope he does....maybe in this fight bhops arthritis starts to bother him and roys speed makes the difference
