That was one of Chavez' best performances in years and he did it against a prime De La Hoya. Yes, Chavez quit but he gave a great fight to De La Hoya, who was aware that he was in a fight that night. Chavez was not winning enough rounds, but the fight was competitive enough to please his fans. I'm not surprised at all about someone appreciating his effort. I did too.
