honestly....in their primes it would have taken a round robin tournament to see who comes out on top...all of them would have had to rematch 1 or two times to get to the last man standing...much the way srl was the last man standing after hearns, duran, and hagler...you could even throw james toney in that mix if you're talking the top prime fighters for that weight range...Comment

lol, you mad.Calzaghe was a FRAUD.
he beat bums in his backyard for 10 years before stepping up and beating two shot legends.
Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr would also have gone undeafeted through joe calslappys resume easily.
Joe Calzaghe is no better than Sven Ottke and Zsolt Erdei.
typical dumb fan you areComment

Joe was a hell of alot closer to his prime than Roy was... RJJ was shot and most unbiased people will agree with that. It doesn't mean **** that there was only 3 years apart in age between them btw.
RJJ had been KTFO by Tarver in 2 rounds and Johnson in 9 rounds several years before Joe fought him.Comment

Couldnt have said it better myself.lol this must be a joke
calzaghe beat 2 shot versions of rjj and b-hop and kessler and thats it. oh yeah and a totally overhyped bum in jeff lacy and an old past prime eubank.
lets compare resumes
Calzaghes Resume:
Roy Jones Jr(shot and 40 years old)
Bernard Hopkins(split decision against a past prime 44 year old)
Mikkell Kessler(only good win on calslappys resume)
Jeff Lacy(overhyped bum)
Chris Eubank(past prime)
Bernard Hopkins resume:
Oscar De La Hoya(prime)
Felix Trinidad(prime)
Glen Johnson(prime)
Kelly Pavlik(prime)
William Joppy(prime)
Winky Wright(over his natural weight but still a very good win)
Antonio Tarver(prime)
Roy Jones Jr resume:
Bernard Hopkins(prime)
James Toney(prime)
Mike Mccallum(past prime)
Montell Griffin(prime)
John Ruiz(prime and at heavyweight)
Virgil Hill(prime)
Joe Calzaghe stayed in wales and defended his ****ty WBO belt for almost 10 years and then won the IBF belt from a bum in lacy and the WBC,WBA belts against Kessler and then went up to light heavy and beat two shot 40+ year old legends. and thats it.
Many people even think he lost to the 44 year old past prime Hopkins who knocked him down in the first round. lol. a prime hopkins would have whooped Calzaghe.
a shot 40 year old RJJ knocked down Calzaghe in the first round. a prime RJJ would have ended it right there.
H2H both prime verions of rjj and b-hop would have knocked the average joe the **** out. joe really dont have much skills, except good handspeed and the abilty to throw 100 slaps(that couldnt even knock out my dead grandma) per round.
lets face it Joe Calzaghe was a FRAUD and a JOKE. he beat 2 shot legends and a bunch of bums and only fought in america twice.
in a few years Joe Calzaghe will be forgotten outside of newbridge wales.
Roy Jones Jr and Bernard Hopkins will be remembered as legends and will never be forgotten... the average joe calslappy will be remembered as the guy who defended his ****ty WBO paper belt in his backyard for 10 years and then beat 2 shot legends that was both over 40 years old.Comment

joe was yes. i said however neither were in their prime and that is a fact.Joe was a hell of alot closer to his prime than Roy was... RJJ was shot and most unbiased people will agree with that. It doesn't mean **** that there was only 3 years apart in age between them btw.
RJJ had been KTFO by Tarver in 2 rounds and Johnson in 9 rounds several years before Joe fought him.
you brought up the age but now you are saying 'it doesn't mean ****'. well done
