Yes, it would be an off night guys. He has put in mammoth performances, against great fighters, the top in their respective divisions and he is due an off night. Look at history and boxers havent put in performances like Pac so consistently. PBF hasnt even climbed one mountain yet, so is due one the probability tells you. It may not come against Pac though. It might come against SSM.
If PBF did beat Pac, PBF would have been better on the night. Just like JMM was nearly better on the night against Pac, but JMM wont be a higer ATG as well. Randolph Turpin beating SRR was an off night for SRR wasnt it? So dont argue with me! I am right here.Comment

Don't get me wrong. Pretty Boy is a good fighter but the Pacman, now he's a great fighter. A fighting "Machine" that won't quit. Don't compare him to the others Mayweather had fought. Floyd says his style is "Hit but don't get hit." Well, that may be true against other fighters but it won't be the case against the Pacman. Pretty Boy will be in "Big Trouble With Little Man." Hahaha... JAT

First let me state that I am not a Mayweather fan or Mayweather nut hugger. I have always been bothered by the fact that Mayweather has avoided certain fighters (Mosley) in order to keep his perfect record intact. Nontheless his boxing ability cannot be dissmissed even if people dislike his attitude & boxing style. With regard to the fight being pushed/promoted.... Mayweather's inactivity is the only real concern in my book. Mayweather's boxing skills including his defensive wizardary, which is unmatched, and his counterpunching style give him the edge if he fights Pacquiao at 147 or 154 and not at a catchweight BS fight.
I believe Pacquiao was a great Featherweight and Super Featherweight fighting the best fighters (Morales, Barrera & Marquez). After moving up from the Featherweight class he has been less than convincing due to the fact that he has fought only a few handpicked fighters. First case in point, in the Lighweight & Super lightweight Class he has fought David Diaz(lightweight) & Ricky Hatton (super lightweight) who are brawlers with below average defensive skills and counterpunching ability making them tailor made opponents. That's it , these are the only fights at the Lightweight & Super Lightweight class The other two fights involved catchweight fights in which he had a weight advantage over 1) a weight drained Old De La Hoya that was past his prime & 2) a Welterweight fighting at less than his ideal weight that had not been the same after a recent brutal beating at the hands of another fighter. To convince me that he is the real deal in the Welterweight class, I would like to see Pacquiao 1) fight someone at real Welterweight limits & 2) that is currently highly touted (Mosley or Mayweather). Until then I believe he is a fighter that has hadComment

I disagree, I believe Floyd will win on points if he is the ring general, but if he falls into Manny's trap of trying to brawl I see Pacquiao doing what he did to Cotto.
Floyd just like almost every orthodox fighter does not look comfortable against southpaws, they are very difficult to figure out, specially awkward ones like Manny.
Whoever comes out the winner deserves 100% creditComment
