Looking at how Fighter's react after knocking an opponent down/out

Just look at how calm SRR is in this clip after the knock-down and then after the knockout. Look at how he holds himself

I was thinking about this after watching some Joe Louis fights as well a SRR (who was a big fan of J.L.)....and even though I know there has to be some incredible excitement for winning, especially by KO, there is still a man hurt on the floor which you are responsible for. To not jump up and down with joy and just stay calm and go about your business is not only badasss because in a way it says that is expected because you are the best and in control...but can also be seen as respectful for the wounded.

And of course in this video Robinson went over to check on him.

I like it better when a fighter toys around like Floyd did to Bruseles (Cotto's sacrificial lamb).

I like how he talked football with Lampley.

Damn, I've never even seen a soup can take that much punishment.

Ray was so used to knocking guys out, it was almost an afterthought.

At times, he made it look so easy.

Announcer: "And there it goes! And Van Damm has had it! They never come up when they go down like that!"

"Out! From now on it's reported Luke Van Damm will stick to saccharin. Sugar's too flattening!"

We could use some more announcers like him today to pitch products after every knockout.
