Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. Stops Genaro Garcia; Title Fight Within Reach

With former super bantamweight king Israel Vazquez providing guest commentary at ringside and former three division world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Sr (no relation) performing his latest role as head trainer, Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. couldn’t have picked a better time to score the most impressive win of his career to date. I was skeptical at first but it now looks like Wilfredo is moving along at a good pace. Now Alex "Pollo" DeJesus needs to get over his funk over being robbed and get himself back into the picture at 140-147.

I totally agree, el Pollo have the talent to be champ easy. ut the guy have atittute prolems that doesnt help. And if he comesack, he needs to be more agresive, beccause most times his opponents are there to e taken and he just cruises, instead of finishing the fight

Wont happend, Vittiņo is ranked by the WBA and IBF, so he will probably fight for one of those 2 vacant titles whe Caballero moves up.

Now, its a probaility that we can have Johnahan Oquendo vs Vazquez jr. for the WBO belt next year.

I've got high hopes for Vasquez Jr. So does this mean that he's ready for Rafael Marquez?

Probably. He needs one more fight against a top contender or tough journeyman, to make sure.

Only thing is that Vazquez Jr fights at 122 and Marquez at 126
