I think it's more that he REALLY likes Cotto. Against 99% of others he's gonna be on Pac's nuts.

i don't think they were biased against pac.

i think they were ready to make excuses for pac in case he lost.

i think they were expecting pac to lose so they had to make it seem like pac was up against it.

"cotto is a true welterweight."

"pac has never fought someone as big and strong as cotto."

Yeah, Lamps has always been a mega Cotto fan, he hypes up every one of Cotto's jabs.
