naw, i dont think he's gonna go up in weight even tho he could probably beat him easily, but he's small for a welterweight, so he's gonna be even smaller at junior middleweight even tho there's less competition there

he struggled with pacquiao's power, he can't handle jr middlewright power. He came from junior welterweight and came in a lightweight in a fight before, he's 2 small for jr middleweight.

He should consider not gaining so much weight between fights staying at Welter. **** maybe even a move to Jr Welter if he becomes a gym rat (appears to have made 145 easliy). Problem is he blows up between fights. He should take a page out of B-Hop, Roy and Floyd's books and stay in shape between fights. 154 is too big for him.

Funny thing is I’d give Yuri a decent shot at beating Chavez.

            Peace.

Cotto could be good at 154. He has a big frame with not a lot of mass right now.
A bulking diet and core strengthening exercises will do him good.

As long as he stays away from Angulo and Williams. Martinez and Dzinziruk could possibly beat him too, but Cotto's absolute kryptonite are fighters who have high work rates and apply a lot of pressure.

Agree with avoiding 2 of those 4 but I think Cotto beats Dzinziruk due to him not having the power or speed to keep Cotto off of him, he's a very good boxer though. Let's not forget an undefeated prime southpaw that goes by the name of Carlos Quintana with decent power and better boxing skills than Cotto, lasted a mere 5 rounds in there with Mr. Cotto.

Cotto beats Angulo worse than Cintron beat him.

Williams and Martinez at 154 would use Cotto as target practice.

With that said, Cotto is fine at WW imo.
