Should Pacquiao vs Mayweather Be At 147 - No Catchweights?

Should the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight be at the normal 147lbs welterweight limit to prove that Pacquiao is a legitimate welterweight fighter, or do you think it should strictly be at a catchweight below 147lbs?

if im manny, the only way i fight at 147 is if its 70/30 for him....

if floyd wants 50/50 it should be 145

Pac is better of fighting at 145. there shouldn't be any excuses so Floyd should fight him in the same weight that he's been most successful. Mayweather weigh-in 146 vs Marquez so it be a lot easier for him to make the weight. If The fights at 147 Floyd might come in at 150. He never makes the right weight.

They need to stop protecting Manny with the catchweights. He beats Mayweather at 147 anyway.

I don't see the need for a catch-weight, especially when there are titles on the line.

If Manny wants to come in at 145, then he should do whatever he feels will win him the fight.

Besides, the welter range is 141-147.

If you're looking to compete at the top level, and need to force a fighter come down to an unnatural weight, it plainly indicates how insecure you are of beating him.

On top of all that, Manny proved himself at the welter level twice already, and both times it appears he coasted to a comfortable victory.

Now, if he would have struggled against his opponents at that level, I think it's safe to say he would return back down to the lighter weights to continue his career.
