i think ****** mexicans dont like oscar cause they cant really relate to him. i mean a guy like chavez , they could picture that guy being their dad or uncle. and guys like vargas you could picture being you or one of your homies. morales/barrera, same deal. but oscar doesnt look like a typical east la mexican,talk or act like one. doesnt have that "im the toughest mexican on the planet" attitude either. he doesnt fight in a "i'll win or die in the ring" style. hes really nothing like the past mexican fight heros.

i just think its kinda funny how vargas has more of a "thug" appeal even though he grew up in a relatively boring area of oxnard cali. east la where oscar grew up is a much tougher area.
