Watch his interviews and you'll see that when he's asked a question, he always preface's anything with: Like I said before..... EVEN THOUGH, he may have not necessarily have "said it before".... Which leads me to think that his use of "like I said before" isn't founded in any practical, concrete, recalling sense, but rather its a reflection of his anxiety when faced with critical questions and his limited grasp of the language (since he always resorts to the same statement to preface his cookie cutter and predictable answers)....
"Like I said before" is his brains trigger term to begin the bull****ting. Its his way of reminding himself that its now time to lie, distort, dodge and pretty much avoid the question altogether.
In this regard, his interview style mimics his fighting style.
