Roach is changing his tune after seeing that their PPV came in below expectations.

It is easy to talk smack when you think your PPV did 2 million. When the 1.2 number comes out, it's "OK, we can do the 50/50. Where do I sign?"

If Roach offers 50/50, its becasue he knows that 50% is a GREAT deal for his little frog-looking southpaw.

Man, there isn't any way Floyd deserves a 50/50 split in the first place. JMM was a draw that had a lot of Mexicans support him, so Floyd fans shouldn't be acting like Mayweather was the back bone of that promotion because he wasn't. I think Freddie Roach is crazy for even suggesting a 50/50 split after the Pacquiao-Cotto fight did bigger numbers than Floyd's fight with JMM and it drew millions more dollars at the gate as well. Floyd just tries to piggy back off of other fighters' stardom. And if he budges at a 50/50 split than it's Floyd who is the *****.

With the new revelation of 1.25 PPVs for Pac/Cotto Floyd as a businessman should accept nothing less than 60/40. Floyd will single handedly promote this fight. Manny's tired ass "I just wanna do my job" routine is tired and boring as hell. Money go get your money. Your the man and you deserve 60/40 and if they get fly with you, you should demand 65/35. I would love to see this fight but if Manny was in Floyd's position his little greedy ass would be demanding the same.

I think it is hilarious the way Freddie Roach has gone from 'we want a 60/40 split or we will look at other options' to '50-50 gets it done.' He might have gotten 50-50 if the Cotto numbers had been 1.6 million as Roach and Arum "expected", but now Pacquaio will be lucky to get a 45-55 split. He can turn it down and fight Marquez for 65 percent of the money, but he will still make less than he would taking the 45 percent against Mayweather.

if talks break down they are fighting mosley and floyd can retire again...

The economy was fine when Pac fought Marquez, but there were only 450,000 buys. You can't compare Floyd/Marquez with Pac/Cotto because Cotto was a star and a PPV draw himself. If Pac was a big as you think, the fight would have drawn the 1.6 million that Arum and Roach expected.

Bottomline PAC/Cotto sold more than PBF/Marquez.Who cares if it didn't 1.6m buys,this is not history lesson the most recent is the better guage.
As Roach said he thinks PAC deserves more, but 50/50 is the only way to get the fight done.So no more excuses! If PBF don't accept he's ducking PAC plain and simple.
