    PAC as an American Icon

All these PPV and ATG talks has led me to this question:

If Pac were born in America and achieved the same feat that he has now, how popular will he be compared to Floyd and all the other American fighters in history? How high will he be ranked as an ATG? Will he get bigger PPV numbers than a prime DLH and a prime Floyd?

Grab a beer and let me know your thoughts on the issue.

I actually think it helps him that he's not from the US. If he were his personality would NOT be the same. I can almost guarantee that. Additionally, and I don't mean anything negative by it because in the US we are, in boxing anyway as in other sports we trail behind so many other countries, used to having the best of the best. Pacquiao to so many is that breath of fresh air desperately needed to cleanse stale air.

Those are my thoughts on it.
