Tyson Fight Will Be On PPV June 11th...

    EXCLUSIVE-*********.com reports:
    "Capitol Punishment" for Tyson!
Open-to-the-public presser on Tuesday to announce fight!
It’s been rumored all year and on Tuesday it will be officially announced that Mike Tyson will fight Kevin McBride on June 11th in Washington D.C. Promoter Marty Wynn of Raging Promotions and the Stuckey Group (LLC) will host a press conference at the historic Lincoln Theater on Tuesday, April 12th at 11:30 a.m. to announce Tyson’s return to the ring on a June 11th Showtime pay-per-view. The media event is open to the public and Tyson will be in attendance. According to sources, Tyson is in great spirits and his left knee – that was injured in his July 2004 fight with Danny Williams - is fully rejuvenated. “She Bee Stingin’” Laila Ali – who will be at the presser - will defend her IBA super middleweight championship against Erin Toughill in the co-main event. A third fight “of championship caliber and one that will satisfy the Latino boxing fans” will round off the ppv. The tentative title of this mega-event is “Capitol Punishment!” As reported by ********* earlier in the week, Tyson has begun training at the Central Boxing Club in Phoenix Arizona with former featherweight champ Jeff Fenech. Tyson was previously granted a license to fight in D.C. but it has expired, although the renewal is just a formality that will be finalized on Monday.

I hope they will sell this PPV a reasonable price if its $44.95 I am not buying it. I am huge a Tyson fan but this PPV should be $25.00 and at the most $30.00. I want to see the fight but I think it should be cheap considering it will probably be over in a round or two.

I agree this is definitley Tyson's last shot, if he loses June 11th I will admit he should retire.

I am (as all) admired with courage of Tyson - not everyone will dare to go in a ring with such dangerous and powerful contender, like McBride.

You guys can make fun of Tyson all you want but who did you want him to comeback against? He just got knockout by Danny Williams and you guys want to see him fight the Klitcshko's? C'mon obviously hes fighting this bum to get some work in and money before he steps up in competition.

At this point in Tyson's career maybe he should just fight bums, that way he can make money and then maybe take an easy title shot against a weak belt holder like Lamon Brewster. That way us Tyson fans are happy and Mike gets money. I am just being realistic.

                hmm

I just want to see Tyson win. I like him in his old age. Wish he still moved his head and didn't punch so wide all the time.

If he loses to Kevin McBride...well...wow...his career is pretty much...over. Not to say he will ever be champ again but, losing to a slob like McBride would really be the lowest point of his career.

Why does Tyson want to fight these specially packaged cream puffs? The public keeps falling for it he should be trying to restablish himself by rematching Danny Williams immediately. Everytime he comes back its against a softee even Williams would been KO'd if he hadn't injured his knee.
