Mayweather May Duck a Pacquiao Fight, Says Arum

Top Rank's Bob Arum is not confident that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will accept a fight with Manny Pacquiao. He will try his best to put the fight together. HBO will push to make the fight happen by next May. Even with such a demand, Arum has doubts in his mind. He is convinced that Mayweather ducked fights with Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito in order to protect his undefeated record. Arum has always said that Mayweather cares more about his undefeated record than he does about money. [details]

What a DUMB comment from Arum. Mayweather came out of retirement after Pac. Reason he fought JMM who some would agree beat Pac. Arum doesn't think Mayweather will accept his "offer". Has NOTHING to do with the fight. Its old news Mayweather and Arum don't get a long.

Mayweather said Pac would beat Cotto. So knowing Mayweather, he has already begun preparing for the fight. EVERYONE knows Mayweather is about the money. He (Mayweather) IS about this fight. The question is who will get the most money? That is the ONLY problem with the fight. Has nothing to do with neither guy not wanting to fight. It's the money. IMO 40-40 with the winner taking the remaining 20%. That will add to the drama that will already be involved in the fight.
