although i do not agree with firing the trainer just because of a lost, cotto needs a more experienced trainer.

Peepz always look for excuses, and blaming the trainer is alright for them because they don't have to look down on their fighter if they gave a ****ty performance.

no i think santiago and cotto have a good chemistry..its just their 2nd fight together...constantly hiring and firing trainers is bad imo...

I guess this is aimed at Cotto/Santiago? if not i'll use them as example..

Santiago is not a well known trainer people are assuming he is a bad trainer. Might be true but using an inexperienced trainer on a elite level fighter for the biggest fight in his career isn't a great move imo.

The only fighter who was recommended to change trainers was Cotto. Santiago does not know what hes doing. He risked Cotto's life letting him fight extra rounds.

I have no idea how there boxer-trainter relationship is, but at least on those 24/7 episodes it looked like Santiago was more of his boy than a trainer.
