Lascano was the confidence builder, Hatton had just taken his first loss as a pro and got beat up. Malignaggi was the number 1 Jr. WW contender and had a belt (which he vacated)

Valero isnt known is to high risk/low reward and Hatton is nearing the end so only wants the biggest and most meaningful fights Valero isn't one of those.

Valero fighting JMM or Pac are dream fights for me.

1. Valero would put a beat-down on Hatton. Hatton isnt going to fight him when he can fight JMM and take a well paid beat-down.

2. JMM isnt going to fight Valero. Not enough money at this stage of JMM's career. Look who he has beaten already. Im not saying i wouldnt want to see this fight, b/c i would, im just saying when you've already beaten guys like MAB, EM, cassamayor, and Pac(yep i said it) what do you need Valero for?
