Why did they give away so many tickets during the Floyd vs. Marquez fight?

Was it a charity thing? If so then props to Mayweather cause Pacquiao didn't gave any tickets away to charity, they sold em all

Because they couldn't sell them.
Floyd is a boring fighter, and he was fighting a featherweight who he forced to move up to welterweight - that was a ***** trick if ever there was one.
