Did you love that Pacquiao rope-a-dope in round 4 against Cotto? What a CLASSIC...

I was surprised by the defense more than the tactic, I didn't think Manny had that good of defense and it just officially proved to me that he has become an all around fighter, the guy can do it all.Comment

Jim Lampley and the fans screaming their lungs out. Loved that camera angle showing Miguel's wide back like a bull who have already pinned its matador. Manny took at least 2 or 3 huge left hook to the ribs there. Though it pains me as a PACfan seeing him get hit like that, it still makes me smile witnessing an all time great stuff right there. He did slip them in a few times when Manny's guard wasn't tight enough, he just doesn't have the arm strength that Clottey does to hold it tight, but since he's not as bulky his elbows can block alot more.Comment

Word. That is exactly the "habbit" that Roach noticed in Cotto. If Cotto doesn't think his punches are affecting you he starts boxing to conserve energy, normally it works. It did against Mosley, Clottey and from the beginning it was killing Marg, but its apparent that Cotto wasn't a good enough boxer to do that against Manny. Cotto CAN box very well, but not against a guy whose as fast as Manny, boxing Marg is a totally different situation than trying to outbox Manny. Who throws the same number of punches, but much much faster and it worked like a charm.Comment
