Did Joe not watch the Manny/Dela fight where Oscar's left eye was almost completely shut from Manny's right hand? Did he not watch the Hatton fight where Manny hurt and dropped Ricky in the first round with a right hand?

In the middle rounds Joe was like "Come on fight smart!! You're smarter than that!! (then proceeds to rub Cotto's bald head in a frustrated manner)". That's all the advice Joe had for him that round. He never gave him any type of technical advice other than "use that jab" through out that fight, he wasn't correcting Cotto's mistakes. Roach was right.

Joe Santiago contributed more to that loss than Cotto did.

That's ashame too....SSM had his father train him for a while before dropping him. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way....
