Assumin $ issues killed a Pac fight before, he sure as hell ain't gettin more than Pac if Pac has beaten SSM. And if SSM won clearly, not emergin damaged, he still won't want a piece. Cotto is gone, Berto would be outta the picture, the IBF guy has no star power, he can't make 140, and he wouldn't go to 154. He better bite the bullet and take 50-50 for the Pac fight.

Well ,like mangler said ; technically, Shane isn't the Lineal Champion. But he's as close as we got to one, in the Welterweight division ; he beat the man (Margarito) that beat the man (Cotto), and so on and so forth.

It's impossible for one to become Lineal Champion though when a 5'8" crybaby is sititng on the true Lineal belt, but rather than defend it ; he walks away.
