    If Manny beats...

...Floyd by KO10, Mosley by KO3 and then wins a JMW belt afterwards, against say, Foreman or Spinks, then retires, where would you rank him in all time? Assume all are brutal, clean, uncontroversial KOs.

That would mean on top of Pac's accomplishments already he would have notched

    4th fighter of the year
    fighter of the decade
    undisputed welterweight championship
    record 5th lineal title
record 8th world title in his 8th weight division.

That's an awful lot of achievements tacked on for winning 3 fights.

      How about Paul Williams?

There is a decent chance Manny can beat both Floyd and Mosley.

I still wouldn't give much credit for beating Mosley now because I wouldn't give Floyd much credit for it: Shane is past his prime and his legs/balance looked weird to me in the Margarito fight despite him getting the KO. Maybe it was just that fight...not sure, have to check the tapes...but he is now an up and down fighter: sometimes he is on and sometimes he is not.

Floyd needs to fight Pac and Williams and Pac needs to fight Floyd and...either retire or fight the best at 147, Paul Williams.

While I'm inclined to agree with you there....something has to be said about Pac beating mosley to claim the undisputed welterweight championship and record 5th lineal championship in this hypothetical situation.

True: lineal is important and Shane did KO Margarito so there is still good (not great) credibility with him.

I still would like to see one of these guys fight Paul Williams.

The only fights I will now watch from Floyd at 147 is if he fights Pac or Williams. Maybe Shane but I'm not that interested in it at this point like I would have years ago.
And for Pac, a little more wiggle room: Floyd, Williams and I would still watch a fight with Shane. Maybe even someone at 140...not sure...although I haven't missed a Pac fight since he got with Roach so I would probably still watch him anyway.
