    Marquez willl outbox Hatton, easily...

Floyd was a bad style matchup for JMM. A larger, faster, younger, heavier version of the great counter puncher that is Juan Manuel Marquez. Marquez has been getting into wars recently, but at his best, JMM is a great, defensive counterpuncher.

With that said, Hatton is not what he once was and Marquez should be able to outbox the crude brawler at 140lbs. Especially now that Marquez has tasted the waters at 147lbs and will be moving down to a more natural weight for him. Should be a good fight, but I see JMM outclassing and outboxing Ricky Hatton.

yea, I see a knockout though. Hatton is the chinniest sum ***** around. Marquez packs a decent punch and has good accuracy.

No doubt about it Puas....JMM is pure class. Hatton can only dream of having this kind of skill and UNDERSTANDING about boxing.

JMM rolls him. Either by a wide U.D or by systematic breakdown.

I'll quit BS if JMM loses to a crude loser like Hatton.

      No offense Limeys.

It should look like the Diaz fight IMO.
        Hatton will probably get KO'd.

Don't let the losses to two of the best fighters in the world fool you. Hatton wins by late stoppage. JMM has no speed, no footwork, not much better defense and has been rocked by a lesser puncher.

Hatton out muscles him in an ugly fight.

Hatton by late stoppage or UD.

Hatton got KO'd by Floyd and KTFO by Manny.

Marquez went 12 with Floyd and 24 (and almost won both) against Manny.

            Hatton ain't stopping ****.

When has anybody stopped Marquez ?
And now Hatton is going to do it??
That's comedy. He'll get a gift in the UK at best.

What you have said will probably be the likely outcome of this matchup.

For reason being that a) Juanita is a disciplined fighter, always comes in shape. So, come fight night, chances are he'll be the sharper, better conditioned of the two

                  b) We already Flattened's dedication to his sport.

Now, I can also see Ricky beating the current version of Juanita and here's why.

                  a) If it's the Ricky that showed up against Floyd, I think he can close the gap fairly quick on Juanita and Ricky is the naturally bigger guy.

                  b) As accurate a puncher Juanita is, Ricky is a pretty tough dude, and Juanita doesn't have the kind of stopping power PAC has.

                  c) Juanita does not have the legs that he used to

                  d) The fight will be in the UK. We already have witnessed, that if the fight is in Ricky's turf, the ref will pretty much allow Flattened's rough tactics all night, just ask Tszyu.

                  e) If it does turn into a Ricky fight, I think he'll eventually wear out the older, smaller Mexican.

While I fundamentally disagree w/ the second part of this post.

It is a great, observant, knowledgeable, astute post.

                    So much respect.
