after the junior jones debacle MAB definitely started moving towards boxer/puncher (unless he faced morales). Its funny how people like you cant accept a non american black fighter of being able to have defense, slickness, & counterpunching ability.
Its as if that term & ability is exclusive to a certain race.
Who's being racist here?Comment

I said slick counterpuncher, which Bererra is not. He has good fundamentals, and is a great all around fighter in his prime.. had some counterpunching, but is hardly what I would call slick..
The Prince Naseem Hamed fight comes to mind, which was after Junior.... You call that slick? Even his showing against Pac was anything but slick.
Slick implies having an above average ability to not get hit, and use of finesse over power and brute force... Dude got tagged left and right in the pac fight... and charged around like an enraged bull against Hamed.Last edited by Syf; 11-19-2009, 08:55 AM.Comment
