Oh man it was so cool! It was like being in a place that you just really love so much. It was really small and puts the idea of starting out small really into perspective. The gym was tiny and very well hidden in the back of an apartment building with no signs or nothing anywhere to let you know it even exists. The name of the club isn't even on the outside or inside(KO Boxing Inc.). So I go in and look around the one small weight lifting room and the trainer spots me. He right away asks, you wanna become a boxer? I said, yeah I do. He said, what motivates me? I said, the love for the sport. He didn't say anything and just let me into the room with the ring and equipment. Was very cool. He began to tell me abit about himself and whatnot and the services he provides(no other trainers or instructors there besides him). I said I'd love to learn and everything though it's so damn expensive! 90 bucks for the entry fee for the club and then 50 bucks every month not to mention I need shoes which costs 47, and wraps which are 7 bucks. He supplies the boxing equipment(gloves, headgear, etc.). I told him I'd be there Monday though I'm just thinking about how costly this is gonna be and it ain't near me. Was about a 40 minute drive to get there and a really ****** location.
