Plus, how do you explain grown men that fought for the Soviet Union losing to children from the American Amateur system?

It's not like they would have dominated....they would just have made it more competitive in nature.

Notice the Soviet fighters also came at a time when the Americans are not that into the sport anymore?

Poor people tend to be drawn into sports that they don't have many options for.

Give poor people more options, like going to school while playing sports and....less of a chance they go into boxing.

HW division for instance: Crap American fighters compared to the past.

And remember, good amateurs don't always make good pros.
So you're saying Americans are the superior race? If they still went into boxing, they would still dominate? That Europeans are inferior people?

    That's crazy, Benny!

NO...saying that the Soviets or even the Cubans wouldn't dominate like some people think. It would be just more competitive. You would still have the elites from the States as the elites with them having a tougher time winning because more elite fighters from the Soviet Union and Cuba would take the stage. But standouts from both sides would be standouts...as long as the amateurs proved to be worthy pros because there is no guarantee.

Ali would still be an elite fighter. Foreman would still be an elite figher. And so on. They would just have a tougher time with more competition. Win or Lose for those fighters, elites are the standouts so you would hear their name.

He's consistently beating top 10 ranked Heavyweights which is really all he can do it's not his fault there's nobody on his level atm.

Vitali is a beast, would of beat Lewis on the return too. Great chin, great power and a good thinker.

No I don't hate him. But if you and your ignorant friends want to belittle fighters like Ali, frazier, and Joe Louis, I can damn sure do it to Vitali.

Vitali wont be remember in the same way Ali, Tyson, Frazier are simply because he was *SO* much better than anyone trying to step to him. There are no classical brawls or close fights. Just scientific, complete domination.

Unfortunately there is an element of truth to this.

VK is my favourite HW right now and one of my favourites of all time but he just hasn't had the guys to fight. He lost his only fight against another great fighter in Lewis and for that reason history will not treat Vitali very fairly.

Still, a great and dominant HOF Heavyweight champ who has had a very good career.

Vitali, Wlad , or Lewis would beat any of the HW greats of the past Ali, Marciano, Foreman, Dempsy..ETC......comparing any great fighter from today with any great fighter from 30-80 years ago is a joke. The athletes of the present are superior.
