NAC steroid testing in place since 2002 (1 last roid thread)

Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, says there is no evidence Pacquiao is using steroids. Nevada rules, which have been in place since 2002, require fighters to submit urine samples before every fight. Those samples are tested for 40 kinds of steroids, diuretics and masking agents. Pacquiao, who has fought in Las Vegas 10 times since '02, has never tested positive.

Fighters before 2002 werent caught, or tested. Some of you said Manny is on roids since Mosley and Evander werent caught, but the rules werent in place when they used it.

Other than these tests, we'll just trust the accuser's good heart and knowledge that they and telling the truth. Afterall, Sr is an expert who may have passed 10 grade science (source needed).

OK, maybe soon we can knock this on the head and get on with boxing talk.

Seems the mods are smacking fools upside the head with the ban hammer already, too.

How long before a fight are samples tested? That already comes off disappointing to me since there is no mention of frequency of exams or tests at junctures. Nothing on PE supplements either (HGH releasers). If you're only tested at one or two set points around fight night, all you have to do is properly cycle whatever products being taken. However, this doesn't account for certain HGH related methods that are currently still deemed undetectable.

I doubt Pacquiao is on anything illegal, but I suspect some things are being used giving him a significant performance boost based on the words of his conditioning coach after he slammed Mayweather Sr. I'd like to know exactly what supplements these are and let it be ruled out or not that they are HGH releasers.

youre asking me? If you really wanted to know the truth, consult the NAC. Let them know of your credentials as well. We need to really get to the bottom of this. Floyd sr's respect, and credibility is at stake. ASAP

This steroid thing is ridiculous. Guilt until proven innocent for one man. Innocent until proven guilty for he rest. Yep, that makes sense....

I agree, they should get tested DURING training not after or right before a fight. That's dumb. I don't believe however it's HGH releasers and all that.

After looking at everything I think it was Pacquiao just weight draining himself and proper training. Remember, Pacquiao rehydrated tremendously after weigh-in between 15-16lbs. something akin to Cotto before moving up to WW. Pacquiao seemed to be a JWW masking himself as SFW/LW.

And of course proper training. Pacquiao was conditioned by Justin Fortune for nearly 7/8 years--a guy with no background in sports medicine. Pacquiao should've got a certified conditioning coach (Alex Ariza) one with an actual degree unlike Justine Fortune
