Rogue Conditioning Coach?

No, this is more theory than actual. I'm just saying who would be the culprit?
The three fights in question by Mayweather Sr. is Delahoya, Hatton, and Cotto.
Alex Ariza is the person who was brought in when Justine Fortune left after a dispute with Freddie Roach in early 2008. Alex began working with Pacquiao during the Marquez rematch--after Pacquiao complained of left shoulder pain.
These are possible factors for Pacquiao's amazing performances recently:
1.) Pacquiao finally found a true conditioning coach in Ariza who has a degree in sports medicine while Justine Fortune was a fighter with no actual educational background other than his experience as a fighter.
2.)Pacquiao stopped draining himself to make 130 when he used to rehydrate 16lbs and was actually a JWW for the past few years, and was never actually "small" as many people have portrayed him as ****m Richardson attests.
3.)Ariza has mixed in some PEDs to help Pacquiao to gain strength going up.
I choose to believe 1,2---others 3.Last edited by rao007; 11-19-2009, 12:27 AM.Comment

Why do you guys red k me? I try to entertain the possibility--these things happens to a lot of elite athletes. Don't be sensitive about it.
Anyways, another way of looking at Pacquiao's recent strength at welterweight is by comparing rehydration lbs. from others fighters who have moved up.
Miguel Cotto at 140: rehydrated 17-19lbs
Pacquiao at 130: rehydrated 15-16lbs
Miguel Cotto at 147: weighed comfortably at 147
Pacquiao at 140: weighed comfortably at 138
*In both fighters they needed a 7/8lbs increase to a more natural weight. That means Pacquiao has been JWW for a while now, which would explain why he's so much stronger at the weight.
See, I'm not a Pacquiao hater.Last edited by rao007; 11-19-2009, 01:01 AM.Comment
