    Manny the welter...

" It was the most physical, ever, because he made it that way because he wanted to beat Cotto at his own game, he wanted to prove that he’s really a welterweight, he’s not just a blown up welterweight. He’s at true ’47-pounder and beat a guy that way," explained Roach

Its only been 4 days since Cotto and now you ppl are talking how Pac should quit fighting at catchweights? He only fought one. I dont hear Pac talking about fighting at 145, thats Roach talking.

He's been fighting 138-144 weigh-in all his recent fights, so definitely his not a full fledged welter, weight-wise. And he has the trump card so the other guy should fight him in his weight class if they want to have a big pay day with him. Unless of course he wants to fight them at 147, it really is his decision at the end of the day. Though I'd like him fighting at 140 or 147.

I still think Manny is not a true Welter. Just because he beat some welters doesn't mean he's a true welter. He is better than them forsure but he is still a Jr. Welter to me. Those welter guys are still to big for him.
