Wait was Hatton/Mayweather at 140 or 147?

That's completely false. Fact is the opposition at 147 was much better, that wasn't the weight, that was all Collazo. Hatton even admitted to putting on too much weight. When he faced Mayweather, he also admitted to being bigger and stronger. Ofcourse he would have been more comfortable at 147 since he doesn't have to cut too much weight, there wasn't any sort of decline on his move up either.Comment

No one here credits that win anyway, neither was there a title involved. We're talking about Pacquiao beating a strong WW in Cotto, now is the WBO WW Champ and Roach has the nerve to demand a 145 pound catchweight against Mayweather. Major difference here and some people should be ashamed in defending this crap.Comment

Hatton was a 147 champion. Not a catchweight champion btw. Plus he walks around at 180. Much bigger than floyd dedpite what people say. Floyd was just taller. After the years of cutting weight i think hattons much better at 147 than 140 anywaysComment

Did you read the contract?
Here it is for your clueless boy toy ass:
Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Marquez is a welterweight fight with either fighter having to pay 300K per pound over 144 lbs.
Floyd paid his money, then Marquez paid with his career.Comment

Not only that but Hatton actually took that title from a champion, Collazo. Cotto has never won anything but a vacant belt. Nyahahahaha.
Kelson Pinto, Carlos Quintana, Michael Jennings. Two prospects and a limey bum... that is who Cotto beat for his vacant belts. I'm sure Papa Smurf will have a 3rd one cooked up for him in a matter of months.Comment
