The drama, the lies, the games our fighters play in the media (*well, not Manny, he's too smart for that ****, so I'll let him off), the "he said, she said", bitching, fake posturing, the schoolyard-level taunting, etc.

I need a breath of fresh air.

I understand that hype needs to be built somewhat, but things are really going a bit too far. Our fighters are like school kids, not grown men, not warriors, not gladiators. Who are they trying to fool?

Seriously, I want to grab loudmouth Floyd and slap his ass, send him to bed without any supper, take his toys away, but I can't, and if I ever got the chance to do it he would just punch me in the nose anyway.

I agree 100%. I'm tired of all this calling out bull****. It has been getting much worse over the past couple years and it is at the point where many people expect it.

That is one place where I totally respect Arum. He will not let his contractual fighters behave like media a$$holes.

With Manny and Cotto you hardly heard a word from them directly. It was mostly Roach being as ass, but Manny and Cotto were dignified through the whole thing.

If they call out fine. Call out once and say you would fight to fight this guy and be done with it.

I used to like Williams until he and his camp started going overboard with this crap. There are many more also who simply use and abuse the media to take shortcuts.

I know what you're saying Sam. I was digging through the Boxing History forum earlier trying to talk about things other than this fight. I think I've already reached my saturation point on Floyd vs. Pacquiao talk.

Don't play it off like this is one sided though, Freddy Roach is just as much of a school kid as Floyd.

Manny doesn't care what weight the fight is at, but Roach still plays his games.
