i'm willing to bet that if you were to put pacquiao in against a relative no name and mayweather in against a relative no name, manny would have a larger crowd and more ppv's.

it's like look at the crowds between the diaz fight and the baldomir fight, those are where the real fans would be, not in the hatton or DLH fights, those are the fights sold to our grandparents and people who have no intersts in boxing until it's a crossover media event.

go by the no names/smaller fights to see where the crowds are and where the support resides. at least pacquiao hasn't had people leave during his fights due to being bored out their ****......... i know that happened at the floyd baldomir fight, i was there.............

One of Floyd's fight is the only one i've seen where people walked out way before the fight ended. If Manny is not a draw, then how come this fight with Cotto will draw about 1.4 million or more PPV compare to Floyd vs JMM that did about 1 million PPV.

The guy is an awsome boxer and an in the ring phenom but he is Not a PPV draw and has never done big numbers accept for with Oscar and Hatton; both of these figghts where dwarfed by Floyds fights against the same opponent.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 2 was the biggest selling ppv fight of all time under welterweight. And was only topped by Pac vs Hatton.

Pac vs Marquez 2 alone did more than any of Floyd's ppvs even at welterweight before Oscar.
