Excuses AGAINST Mayweather Jr if he fights....

Mosley - too old, got old over night, Mosley was better in his prime at 135, Margarito win was overrated

Pacquaio - too small, one dimensional, Floyd needs to fight real welters like PWill or Mosley

PWill - Paul got outboxed by the smaller Quintana, of course Floyd outboxed him, Floyd needs to fight someone to challenge him

Cotto - Was beaten by Pacquiao

Margarito - Marg is too slow, a cheater and Mosley already beat him

Clottey - Margarito and Cotto already beat him and he is an inconsistent underachiever

However, Floyd in his flashy/bad guy role has done this to himself...

Who gives a ****? You can do the same for any fighter. If he beats them all, then theres not much else he can do.

Yeah I disagree. Pacman is the best in world right now and fights plenty big at his current weight. I truly think Floyd has a better chance against Pacman then Paulie W.

does'nt really matter, no matter how much a fighters victory is downplayed later on more people will just accept and say he was the better fighter there and then

the simple fact is mayweather never gets the credit he deserves...pacquiao gets credit for beating a weight drained de la hoya at 147 pounds whilst nobody pays attention to the fact that mayweather beat de la hoya at 154 pounds with 10 oz. gloves..ts is telling it like it is

Yeah...thought about that too as well as what TS is saying.

You never know. In the end, it depends on what the fighter wants to get out of boxing and his life. If a fighter doesn't feel it matters in the end, and it won't matter what he specifically does in boxing...then, he'll look to make the most money and stay healthy so he can spend it.

Some fighters can also be overrated over others when they probably shouldn't...and underrated as well by others when they shouldn't. Sometimes popularity comes into play as well. Or people will look at the "names" but not the little details of what was going on...like where they were at in their career or other things that come into play. It can be a simple "W" or "L" situation.
It's really a matter of opinion and maybe that is why it depends on what the fighter cares about.

There is this to think about: You live only once...after this, that is probably it. You have your name to be remembered but how long does that last after you die? 1 year, 5, 10, 100 if you are lucky? Maybe it doesn't matter because Humans will go extinct anyway. Plus, your dead so what does it matter. Just do what you have to do in order to enjoy your life is one way of looking at it.
