Most boxing fans today are easily bought into the hype of certain charlatans such as Manny Pacquiao.They assume that because he managed to stop a few hand picked,worn out opponents that he would somehow be competitive with the greatest fighter in the sport in Floyd Mayweather.True fans such as myself know that Mayweather would pitch a shut out and potentially knock out Manny Pacquiao late on.Pacquiao has not improved as a fighter,his matchmaking has and this has fooled many into believing that he was/is a greater fighter than the guy that got outboxed by a washed up Erik Morales,then the guy who got taken to school by Juan Manuel Marquez in 2004 and 2008.

People will know the truth just aslong as Manny Pacquiao doesn't avoiding ighting another black man.

See this is what Floyd is good at with aggressive fighters but will he have the time to think about potshotting when Manny is throwing lighting fast combos that hurt at him which he will need to defend? I don't think his usual routine will be sufficient against Manny and he may actually be forced to throw more punches and fight at a faster pace than he would like to.

This is what i think the fight will play out eventually, floyd will be forced to fight at a faster pace once pac unleashes those punches.

If he can manage to avoid all those punches, which i don't think is not gonna happen considering the volume and quickness it's thrown, then floyd can win this hands down.

But what happens if he's hit? Does everyone believe here he's not going to get hurt, hell he might even go down with just a flick as i truly suspect his chin.

Floyd needs to have a superpower to avoid all Pac's punches which will come like bees in a disturbed hive.

I believe Floyd to have a sturdy chin but it has never been tested really....a testament to his defensive skill, and while it is great and the best in the sport it is the flaw in his technique because while he is defending he has not mounting a sizable offensive attack. His usually offense I think will not be enough to hold Manny off and he will be attempting his offense while defending against Manny's whirlwind of an attack.....For Floyd to block and slip the quick combos Manny will be throwing at him and still have the time and mental speed to think about offensive counters would be very impressive. One thing is for sure these are the best two fighters in the world and what action we see will be going on awfully quick in there.

The biggest question is, how will Floyd react to getting hit by Manny?

People cannot seriously think Floyd will avoid getting hit for 12 rounds at the speed Pacquiao will bring?

Don't get me wrong, i think Floyd has the tools to decision Manny, but it's a hard fight to pick simply because while Manny is picking the larger men apart (catchweights aside), Floyd looked untouchable against JMM. I hope people know that Manny is a whole different fighter then the one that faced JMM last.

Its not a question of how WOULD he, its a question of how COULD he.

If Manny fights right, he possibly could beat him with speed, movement, volume punches, pressure.

Floyd wont want to get hit at all, he backs up when opponents attack. If Pac keeps the right kind of pressure on him, Floyd will have trouble finding space and time to pot shot.


I still think Floyd beats him with counters and move away too well.
