    March 13th - PACQUIAO'S NEXT FIGHT?

The date of March 13 is set aside for Pacquiao's next fight. Roach told the paper that a March date will not work for a Mayweather fight. He needs more time to prepare for Pacquiao for the style of Mayweather.

Very interesting, it sounds a bit soon so, who does he fight? I doubt Shane takes a fight that close to his Berto match.

Could be see Manny drop back down to 140 to defend his IBO belt? Would the winner of Bradley v Peterson take this fight with only 3 months between their fight and March 13th?

Has Clottey got anything in the pipeline?

Am I thinking of too high calibre opponents?

It does sound too soon, but perhaps if they want a Mayweather fight in the summer, for marketing reasons and Roach doesn't want Manny to be inactive until then he's pretty much got no choice but to set a tune up as early as March. If it's much later and it's too close to a proposed Mayweather clash and Roahc will want plenty of time to prepare Manny for it. And like I said Roach might not want him to be inactive until a Mayweather fight.
