It's almost like nobody in here gives a **** about any fighter that isn't named "Pacquiao" or "Mayweather" at the moment.

Fuck that. I'm going to bring some new threads to this place and hopefully some of you will be interested to engage in some discussion not related to manny vs. Floyd.

1st order of business ; Juan Manuel Marquez support.

Seems like ever since Floyd picked off the Lightweight Champion of the World, people haven't really talked about him that much, where prior to that fight ; we had plenty of Marquez love in this *****.

Show your support for the Mexican legend ; I can't wait to see this dude back in action once again.

well I know that if these guys actually arent going to fight until next summer then both should fight a bum for a tuneup because I dont trust Hatton right now at all and I dont care how good JMM is, 1 fight can change you. He may have lost something against Floyd and I think he should take a tuneup just incase

Yea i hope he isnt going to wait till next summer to fight. People write off marquez cuz of the mayweather fight dont know a thing about boxing, marquez is a legend. I was thinking the other day man... what if part of pacquiaos supremecy right now has to do with how great the competition was from 122 to 130..

I don't think JMM lost all that much against Floyd, he did not look totally mentally defeated or like Floyd took his soul.

JMM has been in a lot of wars and you never know when that last straw will break the camels back, but either way against Hatton I am confident that JMM has what it takes.

Agreed. Marquez has consistently taken on the best possible opponets in his weightclass ever since he got his big break, and moved up to test himself against the very best in other weightclasses as well.

I'm with DLT on this one ; I'd like him to get an easy tune up pre-Hatton, but I really don't think it'll matter.

It's only Ricky Hatton.
