I'm not sure why people are upset about Freddies 145 suggestion

Did you watch the fight or see the post fight presser? Manny Stewart said during the fight that he thinks Floyd looks about 152 and most of all Nacho after the fight said he thinks Floyd was 152

      Who is Manny Stewart?

      Emmanuel Steward perhaps?

Anyway, it cracks me up that Floyd is too small to be fighting the big welterweights, but is much too big to make 145.

      What a joke...

And Floyd beat a true jr middleweight without any problems.

What does he do for an encore??? He fights a jr welterweight at welterweight.

I got an idea: How about we ditch the b.s. weight-classes because they obviously don't mean a thing and just allow the fighers to show up at whatever they want...reality style...like a street-fight that you can't back down from because you don't have a scale around to say: hey, did you make weight?

I would rather have two healthy fighters going at it instead of seeing another beat-down of a fighter that is not quite as healthy or better yet...dead.

That's just two guys' opinions. Two very respected guys, but still two guys, nonetheless.

You can't exactly tell anybody's weight merely by looking at them.

Then again, we wouldn't be having this conversation ; had Floyd not outright refused to have anybody check his weight.

Floyd's the master of the "phantom weightclass".

I know my boy Hopkins has been guilty of the same in the past when it comes to Pavlik ; but he's damn near 45 years old, and actually fought (and beat the **** out of) every credible opponet in his own weightclass for over 10 years before doing it.

Dude, most people call him Manny. Where have you been? As for the last letter in his last name, I always spell it with a D but everytime Im on here I see people spell it with a T so I assumed they must be right. Its probably a D though

What round did Steward said it? Show me where Nacho said? Is that "all the experts" that you was talking about? Only 2 or is there more?

Where are you going with this?

I'm talking Floyd/marquez here, and you bring up Manny/Ricky, and now Manny/Cotto. That has nothing to do with my original topic of conversation, but I'll engage you anyway.

Did they even have unofficial weights for Cotto/Pacquiao? If so, please, post them. And then ask me whatever it is you want to ask me about them ; because I honestly don't understand where you're going with this.
