Yah I agree Mayweather shouldve stayed @140 and beat those guys there, but I think at the time Hatton's Team didnt want to fight him and Arum didnt want Cotto to fight him. I guess he figured the big $ fights were @ 147lbs, he was looking to fight which was at the time a big fight with Zab, but he messed up the hype by failing once again. The Gatti fight was for the WBC belt which is the Official Belt (Kostya Tszyu had the title and vacated it in 2003) and has been way b4 all of these other belts started popping up....That fight was a beat down and he fought Gatti at the official weight.
