Things have changed now, no one could have predicted how dominant he would have looked against a big strong WW like Cotto....since he did we have to re-evaluate what is and is not fair or necessary. Pac should just fight Floyd at the full ww limit of 147.

It's about the RULES, in that case why even have weight classes for titles? This is saying to the fans and people in the boxing industry that it is perfectly OK to fight @ catchweights for Title Belts. This sends the wrong message. Catchweights are fine but not for title belts.

Mayweather fought Marquez at a catchweight in a tune up for no title after a 2 year lay off.

Manny just KO'ed the JMW champ, and asked the WW champ to fight him at a catch weight for his WW title.

(btw Mannys team wasnt even going fight Cotto if Cotto didnt put up the title and fight at the catch weight)

this will be a good oppurtunity for him to do whatever he wants to get his biggest payday since it'll be his last fight

If ANYTHING, asking for 145 makes it HARDER for the fight to be made.

So if you're saying this is a good opportunity to make his biggest payday, then DROP the 145 catchweight bull****, fight at a legit 147, put the belt on the line, and let's get it on.
