How the hell would Jim Lampley know the number of PPVs in the middle of the ****ing fight. He meant that the hype and promotion far exceeded Mayweather/Marquez

For those two. Everything else is poor numbers. That's not a healthy sign.

Mayweather would make a huge mistake if he doesn't get in the ring with Pacquaio.

Cotto is American because Puerto Rico is an American territory.

But Mayweather has sold more total PPV's in his career than Manny....thats a fact.

The fact that Mayweather can come out of retirement after 2 years and fight a fighter who isnt a PPV fighter & the public doesnt know & still do over a million PPV's says a lot about his star power.

All this side to side bickering is

First of all, we don't know what Pac/Cotto numbers are. This is nothing more than speculation just as Bob Arum speculated that Pac/Hatton would do 2 million. Second the Mayweather/Hatton fight did 875,000 in the U.S. but did 1.4 million in the U.K. In total, the Mayweather/Hatton fight had more PPV's worldwide than Oscar/Mayweather.
