So it's not his fault he chose to fight Haye, and thenlost the fight in the ring.
It's his promoters.
I've gone right off Valuev, thought he was more classy than this.Comment

I like Valuev, he is a very under-appreciated fighter.
I thought before this fight that Haye was not a good enough boxer to handle Valuev's excellent jab and huge reach advantage. He proved me wrong there.
I would be interested to see Nikolai fight again. He has options, perhaps put him in with Areolla or somebody like that. I don't think Areolla has the ability to dance his way to victory and therefore he would be forced to get into exchanges with Valuev.
Could be interestingComment

End of the day valuev has been dodging for years, he knows either klitschko would KTFO him. The only 2 o.k boxers he faught were chagaev and haye and that was only because there small so he thaught his size would be 2 much for them. Valuev is the lamest 2 time world champion to have walked the face of the earth.Comment

This has to be from King himself! Why would Valuev even bother to post this message. He hardly says a word after losing this fight but he wants to make it clear that Don King didn't want him to take the fight so King is innocent of any wrong doing here? BS that this is actually from Valuev...Comment

I don't think you can have read the article properly. He's just rubbishing Vitali's claim that the fight was a set-up by King. Seems pretty classy to me.
Exactly. Much respect to Valuev for speaking out.Comment
